NYCS Americas 250 Gun Raffle

Proceeds raised will go to support the MOWWF National Youth Civic Summit (NYCS) annual event.  It is a non-partisan event that aims to enhance the civic education of high school students from across the country by providing them with firsthand experiences in and around the Washington, D.C. area, with a focus on government, history, and the responsibilities of citizenship. The NYCS is offered at no cost to its attendees.

Throughout the NYCS, students will engage directly with political leaders, experience Capitol Hill, participate in simulated activities, and explore institutions like the Supreme Court, Pentagon, State Department, and significant historical sites. The  NYCS will bring together over 20 students from across the country.

Raffle Rules:

• Raffle runs from July 3rd 2026 through Nov. 16th 2026.
• The Drawing date will be Nov. 16th 2026 and time will be 12:00pm CST.
• Prize is a 1861 Amoskeag Contract Rifle Musket with provenance, valued at $3100, winner to provide mailing address for the weapon to be delivered by mail.
• By obtaining a ticket, you attest that you are a law-abiding citizen of good moral character, may legally possess the firearm (the winner has the intention of using the firearm only in a legal and safe manner), and will or have already obtained instruction on the safe use and operation of the firearm. 
• There is no limit to the number of tickets purchased per person. 
• Winning ticket number will be determined by a random number generating program. The winner will be announced on the Facebook page and website in order to protect the privacy of the winner. The winner will also be contacted by telephone.
• Proceeds benefit the MOWW National Youth Civic Summit Fund. 
• You must be at least 21 years old and a legal resident of the United States of America to purchase a ticket. Winners must be at least 21 years old to take possession of a rifle or shotgun, and at least 21 years old to take possession of a handgun. Tickets should not be made out to children below the age of 21 as they will not be able to take possession of any firearms. 
• Winner will be contacted using the information provided by the purchaser on the ticket stub. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted, it is the responsibility of the winner to contact the OStG to claim his/her prize. Prizes are non-transferable; the person designated on the ticket must claim the prize. ALL PRIZES MUST BE CLAIMED AND TRANSFER COMPLETED WITHIN NINETY DAYS OF THE SCHEDULED DATE THE TICKET IS DRAWN. 
• The raffle is void where prohibited. 
• All laws and regulations of the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (BATF) apply.
• All firearm(s) transfers will be coordinated by the gun dealer and all Federal and State laws will apply, including the state laws for the legal residence of the winning ticket holder. 
• Winners may be required to verify that the ownership of the firearm is legal in their state, city or town, prior to taking possession of the firearm. 
• At no time will the MOWWF nor Order of St. George take possession of the firearm. Winners will receive their firearm directly from the donor. 
• The MOWWF and Order of St. George limits any and all liability to the purchase price of the ticket purchased.
• Procedes of the raffle will go to the National Youth Civic Summit event
